How does your Microdermabrasion System work?

We offer the latest technology in microdermabrasion systems, the DiamondTome™.  For this reason, we can say that diamonds are not just a woman’s best friend, but also a woman’s best beauty secret! 

The Diamond Tome™ System is a clean, effective and customized treatment.  The wand, which is used to resurface the skin, has “a diamond-chip-encrusted” tip. This wand gently resurfaces the skin and  vacuums up the dead and flaking skin particles; while it stimulates the production of fresh, young skin cells and collagen. The diamond-tipped wand allows a more even resurfacing result, as compared to the older method of microdermabrasion, where sodium bicarbonate crystals are sprayed onto the skin, leaving a gritty residue, contributing to skin which is oftentimes left feeling red and sore.

After the top layer of skin is resurfaced with the diamond tipped wand and gently vacuumed away, we will apply a “cooling mask”  before we massage your face with a vitamin-filled cream to help promote fresh and healthy skin cell formation. How many Microdermabrasion treatments are needed?

One of our Licensed Estheticians will first evaluate your skin for a complete skin analysis so that a customized treatment plan may be established. Although you will see results after your first procedure, a series of treatments are generally needed, somewhere between  6 - 12. Although your skin may appear flushed immediately following the treatment, fresh and radiant skin will appear within one half hour.
