What do I need to know about Laser Hair Removal?

Laser hair removal treats and destroys actively growing hair follicles, and once destroyed, they never grow back.  Since hair grows in “stages”,  laser hair removal treatments need to be scheduled approximately every 8 weeks in order to eventually destroy all of the growing follicles. After each treatment, you’ll experience less and less re-growth. Generally, a total of 6 treatments will be needed. 
Overall, this treatment will gently and effectively remove hair without causing irritation. There is no down time. 

Is there anyone who may not be a candidate for laser hair removal?

We do not recommend laser hair removal for those who are pregnant, diabetic, have a history of skin
cancer, or skin keloids, have an active skin infection, or use medication which is affected by light exposure.
